Windows Weekly 567: Windows: It’s Not You, It’s Us
I have installed Windows 10 17134.1 for shits and giggles and it is still the same story but i also learned few things about it.
First of all, i highly recommend installing Windows 10 with disconnect network cable in order to install proper drivers and not being hijacked by Windows Update. Also, if you keep Windows 10 disconnect from Internet long enough, it will simply give up on installing all the garbage such as soda saga etc, and it will never attempt again unless you do another Redstone Update where you repeat the same process. I always use offline local account as i have no interest in any of useless services and uwp garbage but MS made it really difficult to add additional local offline accounts. If you try to do via Control Panel it will redirect you to useless Settings where is prompting you to add a new user with Microsoft Account. So the only way to do is to use old trusty computer management -> local users and groups. Windows 10 is such hostile, user not friendly OS and it is getting worse with each update. I can imagine at some point they will completely remove computer management and many other things…
It is complete shit. After playing with it for about 48 hours my conclusion is still…Hello Windows 7.
