Microsoft issued Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18965 (20H1) to Fast ring testers, offering two minor improvements.

Here’s what’s new.

More control over restarting apps when the OS is restarted. Based on feedback, Microsoft is providing users with more control over whether apps are restarted when Windows is restarted. Now, this capability is off by default. And if you wish to enable it, you can do so in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > Restart apps.

Feedback Hub improvements. The Feedback Hub now clearly differentiates between Problems and Suggestions, and it uses updated iconography and displays for adding similar feedback to problems, upvoting suggestions, and adding comments to feedback. There is also a crucial new Add similar feedback feature, where you can now select a problem and add similar feedback rather than having to create a new post. Finally, the Windows Insider Achievements page has been updated and made more discoverable.

That’s about it for new features, aside from several general changes, improvements, and fixes. But some Insiders will also see a new Cloud download option under Reset this PC in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), which can be accessed by navigating to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced startup > Restart now. That feature isn’t actually ready yet, but it’s coming soon.
