Grammarly Comes to Microsoft Edge

Posted September 7, 2017 | Cloud | Microsoft Edge | Windows | Windows 10

Microsoft Edge just picked up a key extension on which I rely every day: Grammarly is now available for Microsoft’s web browser.

“Millions of users rely on Grammarly every day to make their messages, documents, and social media posts clear, mistake-free, and impactful,” the Grammarly website explains.

Brad previously discussed Grammarly in The Essentials: Tools To Write (Premium). And while this is a big deal for me personally—I am a writer, after all—the release of Grammarly on Microsoft Edge is, in fact, a big deal for anyone who uses this browser. It can check the spelling and grammar of anything you write in the browser, whether it’s an email message, a Facebook post, a website or comment, or whatever. If you use Microsoft Edge, you need Grammarly. Period.

In fact, this is such an important milestone that it may be the tipping point for those who can’t otherwise use Microsoft Edge for whatever reasons. Be sure to check it out. On Edge, or on whatever browser you use.

You can download Grammarly for Microsoft Edge from the Windows Store. It’s free, and there’s a paid premium offering as well.

Thanks to Neowin for the tip.
