It is the second Tuesday of the month, meaning Microsoft released new cumulative updates for the supported versions of the OS. The company released a set of cumulative updates just in late November, by the way. However, the company didn’t release a new update for the latest version of Windows 10 — version 1809 — back then.

Today’s set of updates brings KB4471332 for Windows 10 version 1809, which brings a fix for Windows Media Player and a number of security patches:

• Addresses an issue that may prevent the use of the Seek Bar in Windows Media Player when playing specific files. This issue does not affect normal playback.
• Security updates to Windows Authentication, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Wireless Networking, Windows Kernel, Microsoft Edge, and Microsoft Scripting Engine.

Although the update does not include any known issues, Microsoft says the company will not be releasing any more updates or preview releases for Windows 10 till 2019 because of the holiday season.

Microsoft also released updates for Windows 10 version 1803, version 1709, version 1703, and version 1607. Do note that both version 1703 and 1607 are no longer supported for consumer SKUs of Windows 10, so you will have to upgrade to the newer versions of Windows 10 if you are still running the older versions.
